Frequently asked questions

Which yarn counts can you supply?

From Ne 1s up to Ne 60s, as single, two-ply or multi-ply folded yarn. Tell us the count and ply you weave or knit with and we quote against it.

Which colours are available?

Natural (raw white), beige and yellow are standard. Other colours are dyed to order, so send the reference you need matched.

Is the flame resistance a finish that washes out?

No. Meta-aramid is inherently flame resistant — the fibre itself chars instead of melting, so protection does not wash out with the finish.

Can the yarn be blended with other fibres?

Yes. Meta-aramid is supplied on its own or blended with para-aramid or modacrylic to trade flame protection against strength or cost.

Which standards apply to the yarn?

The material-level test methods listed above. Standards written for finished garments belong to the garment maker, who builds them on our material data.

What are the MOQ, lead time and packing?

They depend on count, ply and colour, so they are quoted per order. Send the specification and the quantity you plan to buy.
